I know this has been addressed before in the Shark Pool but ESPN is airing the story again with an update of his son and it just makes me sick.

I really hope this man gets what is coming to him someday

Just saw that.

The shooter thing was interesting to me.

While carruth still says he did nothing, the shooter, serving 50 years, was sending the grandma of the surviving child (who has cerebral palsy) small amounts of cash on occasion to help. Just 5 or 10 bucks, but he says he found god (Allah actually) and he wants some forgiveness. He says at final judgment everyone you have wronged speaks against you, and those who you have done right by do as well, and maybe is she speaks for him, that'll get him into paradise.

Kinda interesting.

oh yeah, and he wants to kill carruth.

Saw couple months ago and it's sickening that Carruth has convinced himself he's done nothing wrong.

Don't correct the spelling of his first name .....he's doesn't deserve it. The guy is one of the lowest forms of scum walking this earth.

It is also sickening that the jury found him not guilty of first degree murder. The prosecution was asking for the death penalty. Instead he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and using an instrument to destroy an unborn child. He only got 18 to 24 years. Justice was not served.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Faced with 20 years in prison or death, I would take death...although these guys seem to hang out on death row for a looong time.

He will be out of prison when he is in his mid 40's. That is not justice.

IMO, this is the primary reason why he has not "fessed-up". He knows he'll see daylight and, worst yet, have to make eye contact with family & friends.
