I know that the Ravens are running the definition of the RBBC, but McGahee seems to have been consistently hot all year, so do you think Rice's increased looks are the sign of a change occurring in Baltimore, or just an attempt to let Rice get some RZ touches?
McGahee's doing so well in his role that I couldn't see them decreasing it or changing it in anyway. However, I didn't watch any of the game, or even follow along on nfl.com, so I don't know the circumstances.
The latter. McGahee had two TDs and the game was out of reach. Why not show Rice a little love, after all that was his first ever TD.I think if the game were close, McGahee would have gotten the RZ touches. And I own both Rice & McGahee, so I don't have a dog in this fight.
I was listening on the radio, but if I remember correctly McGahee had like a 34 yard run leading up to the Rice TD... may have been a combination of wanting to get Rice some redzone looks and McGahee being gassed.

I'd buy that.and sometimes you gotta give a kid a little reward for doing good work. Rice has been solid, and you gotta give him a chance to score now & again to keep the morale up.
I saw the long run by Willis and they pulled him right after that. IMO, this is the definition of the committee, if Rice had that long run, you can bet that McGahee would have been in there to get another score, giving Rice a break.
Both are very startable. Injury makes one a stud IMO.
McGahee isn't going to score two touchdowns every week and might not even score one at the Pats next week - they've allowed only one rushing TD. I expect for him to come back to earth with about 70 total yards and a couple catches. Unfortunately I'm stuck starting both him and Rice for now.
