Ray Rice and Willis McGahee (1 Viewer)

I have both McGahee and Ray Rice on my roster, and have to start one vs. Cincy this week. My question is, is Ray Rice eventually supposed to take over? Or is this a 50/50 split. I know McGahee gets the goalline work, which is fine vs. bad defenses, but not good vs. the Pats. Does Rice play more against the better teams? Because Rice got a big workload last week, should I expect a lot of McGahee this week? Who would you start this week? Does anyone have any clue what Harbaugh's plan or outlook is?

Cam Cameron has shown he will switch it up from week to week.

I've got em both and have no problem starting them both until one actually shows he's consistently a better start than the other. I think it's obvious that they are both a big part of the offense and the offense doesn't look like it will be slowing down anytime soon.

With Rice getting the big workload last week, I can see McGahee having the bigger week this week.

No (& it's Cameron's plan you're asking about as he has pretty much free rein over the offense). Unless one of them gets hurt or really starts crapping the bed, there's going to be no set-in-stone rotation. It's fool's gold to try & predict this, even within games. I'm sorry this isn't what Rice/McGahee owners (I'm one myself) don't want to hear, but unless something freaky happens, it's not going to get any clearer.

i have to think that with all the chatter over the last week or so about how Baltimore has been passing too much that an emphasis on the running game is laying in wait. rice and mcgahee, i suspect, will get the ball early and often. cincy is an improved team and they'll want to play some tough, smashmouth football.
