If a team viewed him as a rental and someone they’d cut after the season I never viewed the money as a huge issue, it’s basically $3m on next years books and his proration this year, roughly around $4.5m depending on what week he was traded.Perhaps more importantly, would a suitor want to take on his contract for that diminishing skill set.I can see why teams would values his toughness, leadership and 3 down skill set. I’m not sure teams struggling to run the ball would view him as some kind of answer or as much of an offensive weapon.
TBH if I had a top 3 players I’d like to see traded list before yesterday, and I did, he was on it. That was as much for him as it was to give Kendre a shot as the main guy. Selfishly would have been overjoyed on teams I own both to see them turn into 2 starting RB’s, instead of one meh. Now with Kendre down I’d just as well he remained. Lost all my appetite to see him traded, at least for fantasy, would still enjoy seeing Kamara on a good team in real life to end his career.
