I mean, maybe Derrick Gore could be a league winner ... except that Clyde Edwards-Helaire is off I.R. possibly next week and Darrel Williams is still ahead of Gore as a superior pass-blocker.

Derrick Gore rushed 11 times for 48 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 8 win over the Giants.

Prior to Monday night, Gore had played five snaps this season and had never registered an NFL carry. Darrel Williams narrowly out-carried Gore 13-11, and it was Gore who found the end zone on a three-yard run in the second quarter. His legs looked fresh. If Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee, I.R.) can't return next week against the Packers, Gore did enough in this one to earn snaps and touches behind Williams next week against the Packers. Gore was out-targeted 7-0 by Williams.
