He is currently RB10 in PPG in PPR. If you go back to his last 4 of last season he is averaging 19.8 PPG, which would be good for RB4 right now.
Right. And there is room to grow there because he has been effective as a receiver when they do use him in that role. He has caught 76.5% of targets for career, which is about average for a RB. But he produces when he catches with an above average yards per catch of 10.4He is currently RB10 in PPG in PPR. Great. How about you add more games than the last 4 to the sample? That floor I'm talking about it quite evident. He is currently RB10 in PPG in PPR. If you go back to his last 4 of last season he is averaging 19.8 PPG, which would be good for RB4 right now.
To be fair, not sure his numbers with Mariota mean much.Great. How about you add more games than the last 4 to the sample? That floor I'm talking about it quite evident.
I was talking about the last 14 games, which includes the last 4 from last season. I thought I was clear about that. That's when he started getting the workhorse treatment.Great. How about you add more games than the last 4 to the sample? That floor I'm talking about it quite evident.
Last 14 games. The last 4 referenced were from last season. Last 4 from 2018 and 10 games from 2019.To be fair, not sure his numbers with Mariota mean much.
Henry was clearly hindered by QB play (at least somewhat).
If you understood that I meant the last 14 games, why on Earth would anyone ever look at the games before that? When he wasn't ever the workhorse. Those games are meaningless. He's the guy now and we have 14 games of dominance. In PPR.Great. How about you add more games than the last 4 to the sample? That floor I'm talking about it quite evident.
Nor mine. He's RB4 in my standard scoring league.Whatever. Hes not leaving my lineup
I play almost exclusively in PPR leagues. Check out his stat lines when he isn't getting into the endzone. It's not pretty.
He's agreat as an RB2. I'd be hesitant trotting him out there as my RB1 in PPR.
Would love it if they used him more in the passing game. I have a small sample overall personally, but he wasn't known as a receiver in college, he hasn't been trusted as a receiver in the NFL, and what I've seen this year he's kinda had stone hands -- losing handles on passes and generally looking uncomfortable with the ball.Henry's next upgrade will come by way of more work as a pass-catcher. Lots of ways to use him there.
Wait, what? Is thisI wouldn’t call him physical
?Henry isn't a plus receiver, but it can be simple stuff like screens, checkdowns, & swing passes.Would love it if they used him more in the passing game. If I had him anywhere, he'd be exactly there, without question. My biggest mistake this year in my main league was drafting Sony Michel over him in non-PPR (hence I could justify Michel). Bad move on my end.Whatever. Hes not leaving my lineup
Here's hoping Henry can go on another Week 14-16 run like he did last year!I feel like he's been getting dissed since the season started, but he's been rock solid and carried my team to an improbable win this week. He's my #1 now as Barkley is a shell of his former self.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I think those kinds of plays would be right up his alley.Henry isn't a plus receiver, but it can be simple stuff like screens, checkdowns, & swing passes.
He's tough for DBs to bring down & his long speed is near elite.
From what I've seen, Henry is a decent pass-catcher.Oh, don't get me wrong, I think those kinds of plays would be right up his alley.
But I have literally seen in a game this year Henry get wide open in the flat for a screen pass and have it bounce off of his hands like they were made of stone.
And another instance this season where Henry bobbled and dropped a really easy dump-off.
Not saying he can't catch -- but from what I've seen, can see why they may not be utilizing him in this phase of the game.
He had a couple drops but he's also had catches. It's just people feel validated with their "he can't catch" claim when he has a drop. 2 or 3 weeks ago, he caught a screen or short sideline route and was gone and yet not a peep from the can't catch people.Oh, don't get me wrong, I think those kinds of plays would be right up his alley.

That's exactly my point. Henry isn't a traditional "in-space" pass-catcher, but when he's isolated on a DB (or even a LB), it's a mismatch most times not due to his quickness like most top receiving backs, but because of his size & strength. And Henry has near elite long speed to take it to the house if he can break a tackle or two.He had a couple drops but he's also had catches. I've said this before but I just find it so fascinating. Brandon Jacobs used to catch screens during camp and destroy the CBs up the sideline. People would say how Bam Morris did the same. The Giants and Chiefs/Steelers almost never called those plays. The Titans only do maybe every three weeks, despite him consistently successful with it. There is some stigma some something that makes NFL coaches hesitant but I'm sitting at home and....good luck to those little corners trying to stop the big man
Henry's size is deceiving. It looks like he isn't running fast, but he has a lot of speed. That's exactly my point. He's got great speed but not great acceleration. His 4.5 40 wasn't just impressive, it was phenomenal when you consider that his first couple yards he was an eighth of a ton moving from a dead stop.Henry's size is deceiving. It looks like he isn't running fast, but he has a lot of speed.
When I'm at Bills games, they put up on the scoreboard "speed leaders" of the week in MPH - a useless stat for us as we just want the fantasy stats waiting for the board to change, but Henry is always up there around 21.5 MPH's and when I see that I know he had a good day!Henry's size is deceiving. It looks like he isn't running fast, but he has a lot of speed.
Totally with you and the rest above -- Henry has home run ability and would not just mow down smaller defenders, but can flat-out outrun them. That's exactly my point. This always gets me - on his early season 75+ scamper, looked like he was running with power, not quickly -- his feet didn't seem to be churning fast, etc. Blew me away when I saw he was 21+ MPH -- I knew he was fast, but it was the very fact that he looks like he is running slower than he does that's very deceiving. Might just be that he is super efficient in mechanics that he does more with less, and that he's so good he simply makes running fast look easy.Henry's size is deceiving. His legs move the same speed as Devin Singletary, but they're 4 inches longer.Totally with you and the rest above -- Henry has home run ability and would not just mow down smaller defenders, but can flat-out outrun them.
Needs to catch the ball first. I believe he can be utilized here, but the passes I saw him drop were such inexcusable drops, it may unfortunately feed the unfair narrative that it's not his game. It 100% should be -- just like more volume helps Henry just get stronger over the game, the more they use him in the passing game, I think the better he contributes.

Either way, he's been fantastic through last half of last year and through this year, and hope the team continues to find ways of using him more in all phases as the Titans seem to have new energy and approaches with Tannehill.
And once he gets to those smaller defensive players they now have an even tougher target to bring down.Henry's size is deceiving. It looks like he isn't running fast, but he has a lot of speed.
he is rb 6 in my 1/2 point ppr pretty standard scoring league. He is currently RB10 in PPG in PPR. If you go back to his last 4 of last season he is averaging 19.8 PPG, which would be good for RB4 right now.
I turned down an offer of Diggs and a 2020 1st for my Henry and Duke Johnson. Still thinking about it but his 1st is likely late. He is currently a lower playoff seed with a pretty solid team. Henry would help him. I countered with Godwin and Henderson for Henry/Duke but he rejected. Said it was close. He's my 3rd RB (only start 2) but I can't trade him for a top 15 WR, crickets.
Crazy that I bet the reason is that Henry for whatever reason still carries the cognitive tag of being a plodding, boom/bust RB to some fantasy players. He's my 3rd RB (only start 2) but I can't trade him for a top 15 WR, crickets.
Sucks for them. Trade one of your other rbs? He's my 3rd RB (only start 2) but I can't trade him for a top 15 WR, crickets.
I don't know if I have the cajones to trade Elliot or Chubb but I might float them out there. Henry has a lower floor but has so much upside. I'd like to think Tannehill has helped raise his floor.need2know said:Sucks for them. Trade one of your other rbs?
depends on what you can get . i would trade chubb for a wr1 easily with henry already on your rosterI don't know if I have the cajones to trade Elliot or Chubb but I might float them out there. Henry has a lower floor but has so much upside. I'd like to think Tannehill has helped raise his floor.
Yep. Heck, I'd trade Elliot for the right packagedepends on what you can get . i would trade chubb for a wr1 easily with henry already on your roster
Exactly what I would do. While Chubb got a lot of carries last night, all the RB receptions were going to Hunt. Heck, there was a play at the PIT 1 yd line where Chubb wasn't even in the game. You know that Henry and Zeke are getting the ball at the 1 yd line, and likely cashing it in for 6.depends on what you can get . i would trade chubb for a wr1 easily with henry already on your roster
19.8 points per game in PPR over his last 14 games, when he became a workhorse. Good for RB4.
ETA He missed the endzone in only 4 of those last 14 games, and in those 4 he still averaged 9.25 points in PPR. I mean, is that really horrible to some people?
For the record, I'd say it is more likely he has one of those 10/14 games than one of those 4/14 games, moving forward. I don't own Barkley so I haven't looked at him closely, but I would guess his floor is a little higher than Henry. 24 PPG for Henry in those 10/14 when he does score. Was offered Barkley for him in a redraft and I think I’m sticking with Henry even in PPR.
The Oline is healthier, the Titans are in a lot of games and there schedule isn’t too terrible. I just wish he had a PPR floor.
But Barkley could be scaled back or get less work as they put in worse players down the stretch to evaluate? Am I wrong to be hesitant in getting rid of Henry for Barkley? Seems like the Titans are trending up.As for just 2019 games, and not counting the game Barkley got hurt, Barkley is averaging 18.2 PPG and Henry 17.3.
Wait. You’re playing Chubb over Henry at this point? No way I’d do that. Hunt has made Chubb’s PPR ability less than Henry’s now. Let alone eating into touches. And that team stinks for all it’s talent. CMC, Cook and maybe Elliott and Jacobs are the only backs I’d rather have right now.I don't know if I have the cajones to trade Elliot or Chubb but I might float them out there. Henry has a lower floor but has so much upside. I'd like to think Tannehill has helped raise his floor.
