That’s a stretch. In ppr Juszczyk will be more valuable than Breida.
No just a feeling that nobody is going to create much valueyou sure about that?
20% chanceReally?
It is but he quietly sucks up targets (56 in 2015 with BAL, 49 in 16 with BAL, 42 last year with SF) and I think you can at least expect 60 targets if McKinnon is truly done for the year. I've typed out crazier #### in these forums. That’s a stretch.
Eh I think if they decide to give someone the bulk of the carries they could be a top 25 back (RB2) at the very least.Everyone will suck at rb for sf
Yep I think if they split the work they're both RB4's with RB3 upside.Eh I think if they decide to give someone the bulk of the carries they could be a top 25 back (RB2) at the very least.
You do realize that Morris’ best seasons were with Shanahan’s playbook, right? That’s a stretch.
Breida had over 100 carries last year behind Hyde, I see no reason to believe he’s not next in line. Alf hasn’t even been there long enough to have the playbook down has he?
I can totally see that with Shanahan. If McKinnon is done for the year I want no part of this running game. I think Morris or Breida could provide running back 2 numbers, but I think figuring out which back it will be week to week won't be easy. I also don't expect any consistency. I think you could see Morris go a couple weeks in a row with 18 carries or 50 yards, then Breida get a week, then Morris comes back the 4th week with 120 and 2 tds.
Fair pointYou do realize that Morris’ best seasons were with Shanahan’s playbook, right?
Presumably this helps Jimmy G. No ?If McKinnon is done for the year I want no part of this running game
Breida is better than both.Morris is a better runningback than McKinnon...if you liked McKinnon, you should really like Morris.
I think so, I don't know the percentage of run vs. pass for Shannan coached offenses of the top of my head, but I think he has always been pass heavy.Presumably this helps Jimmy G. No ?
That is true, but to be fair Morris was a lot younger, and his best year was with RG3 fully healthy and scaring defenses with his legs and deep ball.Morris is a better runningback than McKinnon...if you liked McKinnon, you should really like Morris.
Jimmy has looked razor sharp in preseason games.I wouldn't want any part in this Niners offense until we see how things play out. Garoppolo has apparently not had a great camp and he just lost a great receiving option and solid pass blocking RB.
Morris has been all over the place. Last year he averaged 4.8, but before that he went 4.7, 3.5, 3.7, 4.0, 4.6, 4.8. I expect this to be a 2 or 3 way committee.Morris averaged 4.8 yards per carry last year with Dallas and doesn't have much wear on his tires the past few years.
Berry just projected a 55/45 split with Morris being 55.Morris has been all over the place. Last year he averaged 4.8, but before that he went 4.7, 3.5, 3.7, 4.0, 4.6, 4.8. I expect this to be a 2 or 3 way committee.
I’d wait to see if it’s an MCL issue as opposed to a n ACLSafe to drop Mckinnon?
I don't think I would go that early. That's like Hyde type territory. I'd be looking at Barber/Carson type area in around the 8th.so, where are we drafting Morris now ? I draft Monday night. Thinking late 6th/early 7th.
I'd also wait.I’d wait to see if it’s an MCL issue as opposed to a n ACL
Morris is one dimensional. This is great for Breida. He’s getting all the passing game work and at least a third of the carries.Morris is a better runningback than McKinnon...if you liked McKinnon, you should really like Morris.
agree that it's good for breida.Morris is one dimensional. This is great for Breida. He’s getting all the passing game work and at least a third of the carries.
