Caserio had his presser today and skirted around the Mixon issue a bit but said he's making progress and In 3-4 weeks they'll have more information to make a decision. As I said previously, I'd bet the house he's not playing this year.

Just crickets .. Non football related injury. Seems like he injured his foot again doing something he shouldn’t have and the team is keeping it under wraps for whatever reason. Their head coach is already talking about him in the past tense so take that for what it’s worth.

Well, because at this point there is NO news about your injury. Duh. Why hide it? Is he secret squirrel all the sudden and going to save Houston in the playoffs? Ummm...no. Last I checked no one comes in 1st game after a season off and schools everyone. I don't see it. IF he comes back, after week 14, who cares?

Seems to me that Rappoport could have gotten something from a team insider that basically they don't expect him back even if nothing's official or even if they & Mixon are hoping he comes back at some point. But like you said, this has been cryptic and completely radio silent on any details or truth on what happened with him. We're left reading between the lines and divining the tea leaves. And it sure seems like Mixon is not only done-zo but whatever he did to injure himself was possibly either too embarrassing or too ridiculous to publicize
