He's being punished for scoring a TD. The call was for him to drop it. #InTheDogHouseWhat happened to Bell?
Fun fact: Demarco Murray did not score multiple TDs in a single game until last Thanksgiving, in his 33rd career game.Is this guy ever going to score 4 TDs in a game!?![]()

Le'Veon Bell rushed for 57 yards on 12 carries in the Steelers' 30-23, Week 7 win over the Texans on Monday night, adding eight catches for 88 yards and one touchdown.
Bell didn't see nearly enough work as a runner, with OC Todd Haley opting to give nine carries to LeGarrette Blount and Dri Archer. But Bell more than made up for it in the pass game. His big gain was a 43-yard catch-and-run on a third down in the first half when he ran right past ILB Brian Cushing, who appears to be a shell of his former self after season-ending injuries. Bell was then left wide open right before the half for a two-yard touchdown grab. It was his first score since Week 1. A legit RB1, Bell and the Steelers host the Colts next week.

he's an idiot. Was Haley always prone to throwing? Even with a lead, he kept calling pass plays. Why? What's his problem?
I'll remind some that people play in different scoring leagues, so if anyone was in actual support of Bell in my TD heavy non PPR league they are, as you say, the idiot since this would be his third time in seven games he scored over 5 points.he's an idiot. Was Haley always prone to throwing? almost as big of an idiot as people bashing bell in here.
I dont think people can get ahead of themselves. He can barely score 1 TD let alone worry about two in a game. I am a fan of Bell and have him in PPR and TD heavy leagues. The value/worth of Bell in both leagues are night and day.Fun fact: Demarco Murray did not score multiple TDs in a single game until last Thanksgiving, in his 33rd career game.Is this guy ever going to score 4 TDs in a game!?![]()
Yes. We know. Maybe thats why some are bashing Bell, because people dont all play with in your scoring. In PPR Bell is a beast, in one of my leagues he is just a guy because he rarely scores. 2 TDs in 7 games is beyond bad in my TD heavy league.
Plus I love how so many people resort to name calling on this forum because someone disagrees with them as if calling names to people they never met on the internet makes them any cooler.
comments are not made towards people who are in scoring leagues that are not representative of the norm. ppr leagues are the norm with standard leagues closely behind. in both cases bell is outproducing his mid 3rd round adp. so it is dumb to bash bell when he is outproducing expected performance.I'll remind some that people play in different scoring leagues, so if anyone was in actual support of Bell in my TD heavy non PPR league they are, as you say, the idiot since this would be his third time in seven games he scored over 5 points.he's an idiot. Was Haley always prone to throwing? So is this just a PPR site? Im not the one calling someone names because they have a different point of view on Bell.Yes. We know. and why bash bell, if anything bash haley for running triple reverse wr pass options on the 3.
much like when i go all in with 72o and i crack AA, me going all in was clearly the correct play.why would you bash haley for that play call? I bash Haley non stop, hate the guy as a coach and from how I see him in pressers and on the sidelines and interact with players. I like Bell, drafted him in many different scoring typed leagues, just because someone states a fact with Bell which is "HE DOES NOT SCORE TDS OFTEN" does not mean they dont like him.comments are not made towards people who are in scoring leagues that are not representative of the norm. ppr leagues are the norm with standard leagues closely behind. in both cases bell is outproducing his mid 3rd round adp. so it is dumb to bash bell when he is outproducing expected performance.I'll remind some that people play in different scoring leagues, so if anyone was in actual support of Bell in my TD heavy non PPR league they are, as you say, the idiot since this would be his third time in seven games he scored over 5 points.he's an idiot. Was Haley always prone to throwing? It did work. It was still a ridiculously risky and dumb play call on 1st and goal from the 3 yard line. Why so many moving parts, and so many opportunities for disaster when you have 3-4 plays to get 3 yards? Not to mention the fact that you have an elite RB.why would you bash haley for that play call? Unknown. How many games is he going to be suspended for?
Is this your personal nickname for him?I am beginning to see a pattern here.
Give Bell the ball. Offense moves the ball successfully.
Pull Bell and put Hot Aids Blount in. 3 and out.
Rinse and repeat.
You seem to have an expectation that others will tailor their assessment to accomodate your league rules, which per current FF popularity are the exception and not the rule. Then you seem to take offense when others are not interested in engaging in that discussion. So is this just a PPR site? Yeah, I used to play in a TD only league. When I had players who got a lot of yards and few TDs, I would get upset with the scoring system, not the player...Dude, you're the ONLY person in here that plays in a league where Bell is not a top running back, yet you expect everyone else to say "well, he's a top 3 RB in my scoring system, but since he's not in yours I hate him too now!"
Even worse is that it's not like he's not still a strong RB1 even in your system, as you said he was RB7 entering this week and I assume he's even moved up from there now since you said he was ranked right around Antone Smith and Matt Asiata, who he outscored 13.1 to 0.5/3.1 in your scoring system this week.
It would have been one thing to say he's not as hot in TD heavy leagues as he is in normal leagues, but your constant complaining, hyperbole, and desire for everyone else to jump on board and say "hey man I feel for ya, let's all bash on Bell together so you feel better" is childish, at best.
I'll clarify again since it feels as if people do not read past the first part of a post the disagree with. I love Bell, he is crushing it for me in my PPR League but was absolutely useless in my TD heavy league regardless of this good week. Sorry if people think I want the conversation to be strictly about TD leagues because I point that out or discuss his lack of TDs which is a big part of football or if me pointing that out gets some upset.Yeah, I used to play in a TD only league. Go away. If Bell does something bad then you can come back and complain. This is 3.I'll clarify again since it feels as if people do not read past the first part of a post the disagree with. How would people get a crazy idea like that?Sorry if people think I want the conversation to be strictly about TD leagues because I point that out or discuss his lack of TDs
The revival of the Pittsburgh Steelers running game has been equal parts RB <a href="http://www.rotoworld.com/player/NFL/8390/Le" data-ipb="nomediaparse" data-cke-saved-href="http://www.rotoworld.com/player/NFL/8390/Le" veon-bell"="">Le'Veon Bell and offensive line coach Mike Munchak. Bell's weight loss has led to a dramatic increase in burst (despite stutter-stepping to the line of scrimmage) and he can turn the corner giving the Steelers an outside rushing threat. There are now running lanes thanks to improved technique and cohesiveness with the offensive line. The Steelers don't have the most talented offensive line out there, but Munchak has them playing like a unit and there are far fewer breakdowns from position to position than we saw last year.
Well, I am pretty much guaranteeing an injury here, but I do not carry Blount on my squad.Question: You guys carry Blount as a handcuff or not worth it?
I traded with the a Mark Ingram owner. Swapped Khiry Robinson for Blount. So I guess it just depends on what you need to give up (if anything) to get him.Question: You guys carry Blount as a handcuff or not worth it?
I was hesitant to even ask haha. Could pick him up and play it safe but for some reason Jonas Gray is tempting.Well, I am pretty much guaranteeing an injury here, but I do not carry Blount on my squad.Question: You guys carry Blount as a handcuff or not worth it?

He is also on a pass, pass, pass team with poor run blocking. He is lucky to have anywhere near the rushing yards he has. After today, it seems likely his rushing role will diminish now that their passing game is now actually effective. His time to sell high has passed. He's nowhere near 100%
