RB/RB/QB/WR (1 Viewer)

I've done countless Mocks already this year and seems to me that waiting on WR is the way to go.

Seems like the drop off at QB after the top tier guys is much steeper than the drop off at WR.

Thoughts?

It's funny...I feel exactly the opposite about this year after doing countless mocks as well. Assuming we are talking about PPR though.

I firmly believe WR-WR is the way to go this year if you draft anywhere later than the middle of your league....I see a ton of middle round RB's that all present value.

If you're league isn't PPR or is touchdown heavy then I can see taking RB's early, otherwise I'm taking the opposite approach this year in all honesty.

Ive mocked a lot this past month, if I was in the 6-12 spot I would almost always go WR WR, I slowly realized that the RB depth is very shallow this year. I dont know if it is my own preference or what, but ive been able to draft 2 WRs I really like in the 3-4th everytime, usually Welker/S. Johnson, sometimes VJax/Tampa Mike.

If RB depth is very shallow, why wouldn't you take one early to help ensure you get a good one? If WR depth is deeper, there should be better WR's later in the draft.

i'm with you here. I don't think guys like mcfadden, gore, jackson, etc.. are worthy of a first round selection over the wr's. If I can start 4 wr's, I am going heavy wr in the middle to late part of round 1, then again in round 2 and possibly a third/fourth in rounds 3 and/or 4, unless someone slips.

That was implied in my post.
