RB Starts w/ Kamara injury (1 Viewer)

12 team PPR with 3 RBs 3 WRs

I'm playing one of the higher scoring teams in the league, and with Kamara out i'm worried I might need to change my strategy a bit. Which 2 RBs would you start? Collins and Burkhead are hot, but worried that Howard might have a higher ceiling and go off against Cincy for a game changer. Thoughts? FYI i'm not banking on my WRs for much help.

Lineup as of now:

Alvin Kamara

Alex Collins

Rex Burkhead

Bench:

Jordan Howard

Duke Johnson

Jay Ajayi

I would not sit  Burkhead but wouldn't have an issue with putting Howard over Collins.  I think those guys are a coin flip.  I think Cincy is playing better and the game script won't be in Howard's favor but stranger things have happened.  I think Collins is the safer floor and almost same ceiling as Howard but can understand if you want to take a chance that Chicago some how gets the lead and Howard gets 30 carries.  I doubt that happens but it isn't probable but it is possible.

With Kamara's injury you are more likely to need to swing for the fences now with your remaining guys and need to look for high ceiling versus high floor so I would lean towards Burkhead and Ajayi. Burkhead for the higher TD possibility and good match up and Ajayi just because he is capable of putting up huge numbers and his usage has been steadily increasing. I wouldn't fault you with starting Collins over Ajayi given his recent numbers but I just have a feeling that this game could see Ajayi break out in Philly even against a tough opponent.

I wouldn't necessarily say swinging for the fences is warranted.  We don't know the other team and their matchups along with if they had someone crap the bed last night too.  I think in many cases you need to factor in both aspects and Ajayi is more likely than the others to have a hurtful game.  He is the much bigger risk to me and I am not sure if his ceiling warrants the risk.

We know he is playing a high scoring team and we know his best RB significantly under-performed, I'd say that he needs to swing for the fences with his remaining guys.
