He has played everyweek since being listed as questionable. Also, not practicing since. Any reason why this week maybe different?

ETA: thanks for the post above. (posted same time)

Even if he goes, I don't like his chances. Boller may not go, which means Null gets the start. The injury, lack of practice, and a third string QB has me thinking he's not the best play this weekend.

He's been injured.

He hasn't been practicing.

Bulger/Boller have played like third string qb's.

Despite this, SJax has been a stud. If he starts for the Rams he starts for me.

Source: Jackson has herniated disc

By Bill Coats

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — According to a source close to the situation, the back problems St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is experiencing are being caused by a herniated disc. Jackson apparently won’t need surgery after the season but he might not be able to practice again this year.

Also on the injury front, an MRI exam Friday on quarterback Marc Bulger’s fractured shinbone showed that it is healing properly but that he will be sidelined at least two more weeks. That report could prompt the Rams, who have just three games remaining after today, to place Bulger on injured reserve
