Droughns, Bush, Taylor, Dunn, and T.Bell.

Who do you like from this group, and why?

Bush and Bell have the most upside, whereas Dunn and Droughns will likely be the most consistent. Taylor seems to be hit or miss for me this year. I see him having a good game, followed by 3 bad ones maybe, before he has another decent one.

Who would you take as a RB2, if you decide to go strong at WR in the early rounds, like many have talked about doing this year?

I'm on the fence here, and have a feeling one of these guys may be staring me in the face late 3rd early 4th rd.

Dunn is the clear safe choice.Bell is the "I don't think even the Denver System can cure Ron Dayne of being Ron Dayne" pick.

Bush is the complete lottery-style dice roll.

From what I've read, Taylor has gotten serious this off-season and is in great shape. But Dunn is still the safest choice for me. He continues to get overlooked by many owners. You will know more about Bell once training camp begins. His ADP will either go up (if he is the #1 RB for Den) or fall, depending on what that dang coach out there says and does. I think someone in my league will take Bush too early (2nd rd) in my opinion.

I'd probably go...Droughns - most solid option, has done it before and situation may improve over last year.

Taylor - good line has the chance to be a solid option IMO. Pretty decent schedule too (8 "easy" games on the USOS).

Dunn - solid option

Bush - good upside but don't know how he'll be utilized with Deuce

Bell - too many questions

I thought early reports were that Minny was not happy with the shape Taylor was in. Has this changed recently?

I heard the same thing, that he reported for workouts and was not in shape.Link

Some people men Chester Taylor and some mean Fred Taylor....... ;)

He probably thought you meant Fragile Fred, not Chester....that was my initial impression as well.

Is Thomas Jones not in that group? What about Jamal Lewis. I'd rather have either of those guys over the backs listed, but of the ones listed:

Droughns

Dunn

CTaylor

Bush

Bell

How you can have Bush ranked #1 when he hasn't even put his NFL pads on is wishful thinking at best.

IMO...

Dunn

Droughns

C Taylor

I don't expect either of the latter three to be starting all that much this year, but each should get significant PT.

Droughns has a healthy Suggs to fend off, which I doubt he succeeds at.

Taylor has a healthy Moore and Childress' desire for RBBC to fend off, which I doubt he succeeds at.

Bell has Dayne to beat out, which, while it won't happen, he should get a good amount of carries.

Dunn will have a lot more total yards than Bush, but Bush will have more TDs and receptions. So, that's a pick'em tossup there IMO, depending on league scoring.

I didn't know Fred Taylor was a 3rd rounder now? Did he get some kind of full-metal impact-reduction armor suit?
