RBs that could drop like a rock (1 Viewer)

We frequently see the topic of who is that bench RB that will get his shot next year and become valuable (like LaMont Jordan last year). Let's talk about who is most likely to go the other way? Let's not just do a listing of every RB in the NFl since they all potentially could but give me your top 1 or 2 candidates and why. I will throw out 2 to start.

1-Jamal Lewis. This guy looked like a completely different RB last year. If he does not have a big rebound I think he is out of a starting job.

2-Domanick Davis. Injuries and fumbles have been his downfall. Just a hunch but I think the Texans are growing tired of this and would like to replace him after this year.

I look forward to what others have to say...

Edit to add: not looking at busts for a year but guys who will not be a starting RB by next season.

With Ronde talking about retirement, I think Tiki could be close behind. Tiki is putting up his best numbers ever but he is over 30 and seems to have other interests besides football. I could see him retiring after this year, even if he does have a career year.

Julius Jones, Parcells has a short leash with him. If he doesn't perform, Barber has shown that he can put up decent numbers. Also Parcells probably will not be around long so regime change could create some question marks.

Fred Taylor (MDrew)

Chris Brown (LWhite)

Travis Henry (LWhite)

Frank Gore

Kevan Barlow

Thomas Jones, Tatum Bell, and Moats. Most of each of their value comes from their situation. If things do not break well, one or more of these guys could look like Barlow does now.

Guys like Gore, Julius, and KJones all need to prove that they can stay healthy and produce.

Willie Parker.

Loved him last year, but question his ability (mainly due to his size) to remain healthy for an entire season. The Steelers have a very tough schedule this season. Last year he had some amazing games, but also some where he did nothing. Plus, he has Duce Staley and now Cedric Humes on board....

Larry Johnson

I'm a fan of LJ's, but if Green and guys on the OL retire, who knows what the outcome would be. But it probably would decrease his numbers.

:goodposting: Although I would not place Chris Brown in the "both" class as he has only been in the NFL 3 seasons.
