RBs to Exploit/Avoid (1 Viewer)

Green Bay at Detroit (+12.5) (47.5)

It’s too bad that Matt Stafford will not be able to go today after a riveting 420+ yd and 5 TD performance last week against Cleveland in one of the most entertaining games all year. I expect the Pack to score plenty on the Lions and probably win rather easily today whether they cover or not is debatable.

Ryan Grant: Had a big week last week with about 20 points or so. I thin at this point most owners know they are going to get 10-13 points out of Ryan on the low side and about 18-21 if he is having a good day and can find the end zone. No reason he shouldn’t have a decent game today.

Kevin Smith: Big week last week for owners. Some were curious what Morris’ role would be but 24K answered that question by putting together a big day especially OOTB like he did last week. I think today will be kinda tough for him but he might manage to scrape together 10-12 points for owners. I do not see the big week this week that I felt he could do last week.

Final Score: Green Bay 24…Detroit 12

Oakland at Dallas (-14) (40)

For a couple weeks I have stopped listing the Dallas RBs individually with green or red highlights because they just have not seemed right for weeks. Barber has been a total disappointment for the last 6 weeks since his injury and owners are likely frustrated to the umpth degree at this point. The other backs are not used much at all. Felix never gets enough touches and Choice in my opinion should be starting every week. He is about 100 yds of offense when he is given the ball on a regular basis. I know owners are going to want to take advantage of Oakland but they played a lot better last week and the emergence of anything at QB will help them beat the spread today.

Fargas still seems to be the best option here. Bush with his fumble scored zero points in most of my leagues last week. McFadden just has not found his niche yet in this offense so I am hopeful a coaching change at the end of the year and another off season will help what is quickly becoming another Oakland BUST. Fargas perhaps in a flex option?

Final Score: Oakland 16…Dallas 14-Cowboys fans better eat early before their dinner gets spoiled.

NY Giants at Denver (+6) (42)

This line started off at -2.5 and has moved to almost 7 at some of the Vegas casinos. I actually think this game has a chance to be close with a huge edge to Denver who didn’t have to travel on a short week.

Knowshon Moreno: The lack of running the past 4 weeks has had a lot to do with Denver going down in flames after they started 6-0. Jason Snelling ripped off about 90 total yds and 2 TDs last week. Weaver and McCoy had 150/2TD combined about 3 weeks ago. Wells and Hightower had 2 TDs, Saints had 3 rushing TDs, Raiders managed a rushing score, they have allowed points on the ground all year so don’t miss what is going to be a solid game for Moreno tonight. I think outside of maybe Ryan Grant that he is one of the stronger plays today. Buckhalter scraped 10+ last week but I believe Moreno will see more action tonight.

Brandon Jacobs: I believe Bradshaw is OUT tonight and that should make for a lot of touches for Jacobs. He has not really had a big game all season and I’m sure owners feel like tonight is the night, not sure I agree. If a big night is a TD and maybe 80-100 yds on the ground then I guess he has a chance for a big night. I might temper my enthusiasm.

Final Score: Denver 20…NY Giants 17

As some of you know I have a brother who works for military intelligence in Europe. When he isn't working, he takes the weekly write ups and forwards them out to some of our soldiers that are stationed over in the Middle East. I got an email from one of the men this week and I wanted to take a moment to honor him and our entire military stationed around the world. You boys be safe, we support all of you, and get your butts home in 1 piece.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

jerry jones is on record saying he wants felix jones to get more touches going foward...he has shed his knee brace and declared himself 100 % healthy...with romo hurting i see more running than passing vs the happless oakland run D...and with barber sporting a cast on his hand he wont be seeing any passes his way when they do pass...and felix returns kick offs...my leaguge is a kick/punt return league...felix has a big game in my opinion

Looks like Stafford might be starting...that would make me like Kevin Smith a little more. Stafford is quickly gaining my respect, at least he's not a wuss or nothing. I would think the other members of that offense are taking a liking to this kid quickly. Kid has got some moxi.

MOP>Which New York area RB has a better chance to have a nice game this week Danny Ware or Shonn Greene?
Waddup DD, Happy Turkey Day...tough question. Greene has been invisible the past couple weeks after he grabbed a bunch coming off the bench against Oakland a few weeks back. Ware should see touches but I think he might have some problems in mile high...I'll say neither is a good option but I might gamble on Ware ust because I know Jacobs typically does not carry the ball the entire game.

Same thing I was thinking. Happy T-Day!

Love these MOP, torn between Moreno and Forsett. I'm leaning Moreno right now as it's still unclear if JJones is going to play. If Jones were to be OUT, I'd definitely go Forsett, but I have to make my decision by tonight. It's a PPR league so Moreno isn't racking up the points with catches (something Forsett excels at), but I do like Moreno's chances for a TD tonight. Do you have a feeling either way?
