Rebuilding - Flush with picks - How to handle the 1.01? (1 Viewer)

I'm in year two of a rebuild and would like input on how you'd approach this years draft with an emphasis on the 1.01

Current team/picks:
12 team .5 PPR 1QB
QB: J.J. McCarthy | S Darnold | A Richardson | M Penix Jr.
RB: I Davis | R Ali
WR: M Nabers | J Reed | J Downs | R Pearsall | T Franklin | J Coker | M Wilson | R Shaheed
TE: B Bowers | C Okonkwo

25 picks: 1, 10, 12, 13, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 36
26 picks, mine + 1/2
27 picks, mine + 2/3/4

Our draft isn't until August and I've been trying to gauge interest on Jeanty but so far I don't have any strong offers. Ideally I'm targeting a WR as the primary piece coming back. MHJ, BTJ, Rice, London and Odunze are among the WR on teams that should be looking for a RB.

My RB are currently non exsitent and I'm planning to use the late 2nd and early 3rds to take a few shots. If I don't get anything decent I'm happy to take Jeanty and hold or move him later, but how would you try to flip him in the meantime?

Cheers!

I am keeping the 1st pick for Jeanty and only would trade the pick if I get an offer that knocks my socks off. Then, with the next 3 picks, I would be taking the BPA of RB or WR. I usually do not get position specific as I would take the BPA regardless of position.

Also, why 4 QBs? and assuming your team is 16 players or is there more?

Roster size is 21, I trimmed down to make room for my picks. 4 QBs won't be the longterm plan, I'm not sure what I have with the young guys and wanted to have more shots.

I'll be taking BPA at all the picks, I'm hoping Loveland/Warren are gone by 10 to help push down some of the WR there.

Jeanty is the kind of guy you build around. Not one you trade away. In order to move the 1.01 I would have to be blown away.

Always, always take BPA throughout a rookie draft. The whole key to rookie drafts is finding players that can be FF starters. Draft the guys that have the best chance of doing that. Position is irrelevant. It is of no help to force a TE because you are weak there and taking a player with a less chance to become a starter just because "i need that position". Get a guy that is starter level. If you have enough of those and a surplus at a position great. Trade away to fill holes.
