Receivers that return kicks (1 Viewer)

First time playing in a league with 1 pt=10 yards /punt and Kick returns for receivers/rbs

Which are the most valuable based on their dual roles as receivers (or runners) and their ability to get big yards returning punts or kickoffs.

For example, I scored some decent points with Troy Williamson last week based on his kickoff returns + catches 77 recieving + 98 kickoff = 17.5 pts

Who else out there rises significantly based on their dual roles and might be worth targeting in trade?

Wes Welker and Dante Hall might be worth watching.
:thumbup:I am in a similar league - 1/10 per return yard - and a 5 point bonus for going over 100!!Welker is permanently in my starting lineup and I expect him to finish as a top-10 WR - on a WEEKLY basis.

Williamson is the one to watch....IMO
Not so sure about Williamson. If he indeed becomes the #1 go-to guy, I see his role as a returner diminish.

I picked up Northcutt, but he turned over return Duties to Cribbs after Joe J. went down and Northcutt became the #2 in the 2nd half last week.

Edit to add Randle El. He got something like 5 catches last week and is one of the most dangerous return men in the league.

Here's a link to a bunch of: Returnerguys

The following will probably join that list once they're done being injured: Antonio Chatman, Tim Dwight, Jerome Mathis, & Reno Mahe. Koren Robinson should join if he doesn't get suspended. Rookies Willie Reid, Brandon Williams, and Willie Andrews are waiting in the wings.

Looks like Randel El is pretty involved in the passing game too. Good add. :goodposting:

Eddie Drummond in Detroit is one of those double KR/PR guys and is getting a few looks on offense now as the slot guy for Martz. That was Hakim's spot in a past Martz offense and now that Az-zahir has returned, Eddie may be getting squeezed. He was targeted 3 times in week 1 and had 5 returns - not much yardage, but he'll have many better days.

I have him and Dante and Housh missing time, so they'll both be valuable.

I know you said receiver, but Westbrook has to be pretty damn valuable in a league like this if he keeps returning punts

Wes Welker and Dante Hall might be are worth watchingPicking up and starting right away in a 10 yd per point league..
Welker and Hall are 2 of my starting WR's in a 10 yds per point league.I am currently keeping and eye on Williamson.

There are a few RB's that are return guys also.

Here were the top return performers in our Yahoo league.

10yds rec = 1 pt 10 yds rush = 1pt 10 yds returns = 1pt

W. Welker (Mia - WR) 67rec 153 ret 21 pts
M. Hicks (SF - RB) 151 ret 15 pts
J. Arrington (Ari - RB) 11 rush 124 ret 13 pts
C. Morton (NYG - RB) 22 rush 124 ret 14 pts
M. Pittman (TB - RB) 121 ret 12 pts
J. Cribbs (Cle - WR) 114 ret 11 pts
T. Wilkins (Ind - WR) 112 ret 11 pts
T. Williamson (Min - WR) 77 rec 98 ret 16 pts
B. Wade (Ten - WR) 76 rec 75 ret 14 pts*Wade was cut from the Bears last year for fumbling punts, so unless he proves himself, I would be cautious about picking him up.
