Crashdiet - Generation Wild: Singer sounds similar to Sebastian Bach. Musically, not close to the talent level of Skid Row though. Many songs sound similar to Skid Row songs but still a great album for those of us that still listen to hair bands.

Crazy Lixx - Another new band that sounds like it is 1986.

Lots of good heavy metal coming out of Europe right now.

Another good 80s sounding hard rock band is Heaven's Basement. Filthy Empire is a solid album. The driving rhythm section propels the band. Fire,Fire, Nothing Left to Lose, and The Long Goodbye stand out.
