Reche Caldwell released (1 Viewer)

September 3, 2007
Caldwell released
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff The Patriots released receiver Reche Caldwell today, according to a league source.

Caldwell led the team with 61 receptions last season. He was one of six receivers on the final roster formulated Saturday, joining Randy Moss, Donte' Stallworth, Wes Welker, Jabar Gaffney and Kelley Washington.

The release of Caldwell might tie in to the fact that Moss, in his own words, has "graduated" from the training room.

Even with Caldwell gone Moss is not secure. The Patriots are stacked at wr.

:P The more I think about it, the more I'd avoid drafting ANY of the Patriots WRs. I feel that the ball will be spread more than ever this season... and it won't be because of a lack of talent at the position. Brady is going to put up some sick numbers this year.

A buddy just had his draft and Brady was selected at #2. I'm high on Brady this year but #2 is whacked. He was happy cuz he got SJax at 3.

I bet you he's making a face with his eyes really wide open now.

I have never seen a guy whose eyes are so perpetually open. If you think I'm out of my mind google his name and picture or something, you'll see what I mean.

He also dropped costly passes and generally sucked.

Good day.

That had to be Brady selecting himself in his own FF draft. :bag:
