Right in the feels, but for what it's worth, the comic series ended just fine for me, riding their sled down a hill getting ready to go exploring.
My kids love them too. I have all of the books for them on their Kindles (after them destroying my copies of the books by reading them too much!!) and they read them all the time!!Loved me some Calvin and Hobbes. My favorite of all time with The Far Side in a close second.
And so will their kids and so on. That's the beauty of comic strips.. there's no reason really to have them officially end. Let all generations enjoy them like they were written specifically for them.My kids love them too. Yup, especially now that we have them in a nice digital fashion. Nothing is going to happen to them!!Jayrok said:And so will their kids and so on. I think I have told this story before, but my son got the two big books filled with all the strips. He was about 8 or 9 (about 10 years ago). Every night, for about 9 months, we would read about 10 strips a night. He would read the Calvin parts and I would do all the other characters. It was so much fun doing it with him. He once acted up and I took away Calvin and Hobbes that night. He didn't misbehave the remainder of reading the strips. My kids are just now getting into Calvin and Hobbes, glad I saved all the books.

No. If it was, the sentence would have read "I gave my daughter, Bogart, my big...." as that would have been the proper use of an appositive. I thought you were a teacher?Your daughter's name is Bogart?I gave my daughter Bogart, my big ### stuffed rabbit a month ago.
