Redraft-- Getting Tae Adams (1 Viewer)

I would definitely want the Adams & Javonte side by a wide margin.

Adams is getting open and getting targets. He just needs the QB to be better. I think it will get better.

No concern for the Raiders situation in general with him going forward? O'Connell is starting this week (and possibly moving forward) which seems they are in "let's play for the future" mode. I see, the last two game O'Connell played, that Adams got double-digit targets but is that a consistent marker and can the offense be good enough to get Adams to a top 10 WR level ROS?

But, I ask probably way too many "what if" questions when thinking of trades. I'm thinking of offering Addison for Adams in my home league. That manager strictly and only looks at fantasy numbers and I really think they would go for it. BUT, I have my questions about the Raiders' situation as much as or more as I have questions for the Vikings' offense both positively and negatively.

This is a strange evaluation. I am honestly not sure what side I would prefer to be on. I guess it comes down to who you think the better QB will be down the stretch between Dobbs and O'Connell. That really will likely tip the scales.

You consider Addison and Adams in a similar value ROS?

Surprisingly yes because I think Dobbs is better than O'Connell at this point. Adams is open all the time (he should have had two long TD's on Monday) but can they get him the ball?

If i had to choose a side I think I go Adams because I think he is better and is still getting open. I just worry about his surroundings.

I'm just surprised anyone would rank them even in remotely the same ballpark. If you look at any ROS rankings, Adams is still in the top 10 while Addison is in the mid-to late 20's. Not the I "ride or die" with online rankings but it is a tool for how the fantasy world thinks for how guys are valued.

Addison was really becoming an "every week starter" so Cousins' injury really stinks. And the QB situation isn't my biggest worry with Adams. It's the whole Raiders' situation. It's a mess and I wonder how their play calling will be and how they will utilize guys throughout the season if they are looking to the future. Could they sit Adams at some point?

As for Addison, everyone now is saying to sell "high", especially this week before his value tanks with the bad QB play coming. But they all said the same for Puka with Kupp returning, said the same for Hopkins with Tannehill getting hurt, same thing last season when the Raiders sat Carr. Everyone claims the sky is falling on a WR and that WR still produces at a close to ar at same level. So, that makes me pause on just trading him away.

But, I guess considering I question whether to even offer that trade of Addison for Adams, shows that maybe I think of them pretty evenly myself. Lol!!!
