Regge Bush - Questionable - Monday Night (1 Viewer)

(KFFL) Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports New Orleans Saints RB Reggie Bush (knee) will not play in Week 12 despite practicing all week. Bush sat out the team's Sunday, Nov. 23, walkthrough, but his knee was still too sore to return to full action and the team doesn't want to push him back too early, according to some Saints players. There are also some questions whether or not Bush's knee will be healthy enough to go next week.

Is Caddy more of a goal line back than Dunn?

Thanks for the updates guys, now I am rolling with Pierre Thomas over Westbrook, call me crazy...

Thinking about sitting MJD and Chris Johnson and rolling with Pierre. Never thought I would think about doing that.

I'd still like confirmation from one more source saying Bush is out tomorrow before I decide on rolling with Pierre over Turner

Me too. I hope we aint crazy.

They are saying on Yahoo pregame that some of the Saints players are also saying Bush won't play. No link and take it with a grain of salt of course....

Can't do it. Rosters have to be in by 10am today and am going with Chris Johnson over Thomas. Probably come back to bite me in the ####, but I have to go with a definite producer as I can't afford a goose egg.

Ok, per Fanball Bush will be out:Fanball

Turner does not have a good record against stout run defenses like Carolina, thats why I'm thinking about going with Pierre

Reggie Bush, RB NO

News: FOX Sports reports Sunday that Saints RB Reggie Bush will remain sidelined with a torn meniscus in his left knee when his team hosts the Packers in Week 12 on Monday night. This will mark the third game Bush has missed since suffering the injury in Week 8 at Carolina.

last time I checked, the players don't make the decisions.
True, but they do talk to one another and my guess is the info Glazer received came from players who talked to Bush and who were told by Bush he wasn't ready to play. Just a guess.ETA - Or Payton has already told the team Bush won't play. That's another possibility.

I sat MJD yesterday in favor of Thomas tonight.

A good night from Brees and Thomas tonight could put me into 1st place.

:fingerscrossed:

i sure hope he plays. im a saints fan first, fantasy football 2nd. i would like to run the score up a little more on my opponent. 124-40 and he's done!

reggie, reggie, regge?!?!

The whole Glazer report sounds fishy. All this info on Regie not playing was leaked by players? I think it is all a ploy and he will play tonite!

OK, Bush is out, so lets make this a Thomas/McAllister thread. What is the status of McAllister? I am trying to decide between Thomas and Moore.

Rotoworld said (speculation) this could be McAllister's last game(suspension). If that is true N.O. could run him into the ground tonight.

Sadly I did, luckily I'll win my match-up this week regardless. Let's just say I learned my lesson.

That's one heckuva lesson. Being a Carolina fan, there's one piece of that equation I think you missed--Atlanta always seems to rise to the occasion when playing Carolina at their place. It seems to be so much of a factor that I almost sat Steve Smith myself; glad at the last minute that I didn't! As it is--I've got to hope Brees outscores Moore by 10+ tonight to win my own game, so it's a drag that Bush is sitting this one out again.

I just heard on ESPN's NFL Live today he's going to wait and see how he feels during warm ups to decide.
That isn’t good news for Pierre Thomas owners
Even if Bush plays, I can't imagine he will get that many touches.
Not sure. This whole "players letting Jay Glazer et al know Bush wouldn't be playing" thing is seeming more and more like a smokescreen. Not liking it, as I need PT to rumble tonight.

I've been suspicious of this from the get go. I just don't trust the players to tell us what's going to happen. And I was dumb enough to fall for it...sitting MJD for Thomas.

I'm an idiot. Gotta trust your instincts. This news broke right before gametime Sunday and owners had to make a knee jerk decision.

Per Suzy Kolber on the sidelines - Bush is not out warming up with the team and is looking doubtful to play. Goes on to say look for McAllister to start but Thomas to see "significant action".
