I searched under Bush and did not find this thread...can somebody point me to it &/or answer the Q.

What do we expect from Reggie here on in? Coach said more carries but closely watched with time spent in RBBC approach...then Reggie goes out and gets 30 touches. Given the Saints look horrible, and Reggie's new role, what do we expect? More specifically, will he be better than some of the other RBBC already in place (Portis/Betts, Maroney/Morris, Ward/Jacobs, Dunn/Norwood, etc...). And if he is better than the RBs in the RBBC situation, how much better? Where would you rank him?

As far as where he ranks....If he continues to get 30 touches, I would say top 15 with top 10 potential.

It is going to be highly dependent upon your league's scoring system.

In PPR he will break into the Top 15 and might break into the Top 10.

In leagues other than PPR, he will not break the Top 20.

IMHO he will give you.

15 Rushes

50 Rushing Yards

0.33 Rushing TD's

5 Receptions

35 Receiving Yards

0.25 Receiving Yards

From here for the season that's,

180 Rushes

600 Rushing Yards

4 Rushing TD's

60 Receptions

420 Receiving Yards

fair enough but I think your projections are on the low side of his possibilities range and don't take into account the 5-10 big plays that he will probably bust - so you potentially could add a couple hundred yards and a couple of TDs - making him a top 10 guy easily in PPR. In fact - his first week he was #4 in my league and he pretty much gave you your low end projections.

In PPR leagues he could be top 10 easily the rest of the way. If he is getting 7-9 catches/game and 40-50 receiving yards to go along with that 12-14 ppg as a baseline before even considering rushing yards and TDs, he could be the legit RB1 many of us thought he would be. I would obviously be less optimistic in non PPR leagues.

In my PPR league which is pretty standard scoring (1/10yds, 6 for TDs), he's already ranked 10th in scoring per game. And that's with only 1 game as the "starting" RB. Shouldn't he be a top 10 lock in PPR leagues?

easily. Probably almost a lock for top 5 considering how poorly some of those ahead of him have played.
