Reggie Wayne, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, returned Friday and expects to play Sunday night. He suffered a knee injury in the Colts' loss Monday at Tennessee.
Wayne is the team's leading receiver with 38 catches for 521 yards and four touchdowns, and durability is one of his many assets. He hasn't missed a game since 2001, his rookie season. No one could remember the last time he missed practice.
"Seven years," Wayne said after the workout. "I'm ready to go."
Does anyone think this injury effects his performance? The guy hadn't missed practice before for 7 years! I'm about to let Slaton and LenDale ride the pine for him and it is going to sting if I get to the night game and he puts up another 20 yd performance or doesnt go. Already using Moss who is capable of the same.
Wide receiver Reggie Wayne is expected to play tonight against New England, according to Adam Schefter of the NFL Network.
Our View
Wayne said yesterday he is ready to go. Coupled with this report, we expect him to play well against New England, who is rocking a banged up secondary.

No confirmation yet that he will start, but it's a reasonable safe assumption. Keep him in all lineups. Joseph Addai is also active and will start. | 11/2/2008 7:24:00 PM
