Current Philly TV news is all about a new archbishop. They are even showing it live.

Is this a big deal?

Aren't there more pressing shootings, Philles gossip, etc. they could cover?

This Pope was caught on camera smacking a woman's hand away for grabbing him.  Do you really think it's a good decision to make him angry?  You wouldn't like him when he's angry.

The Pope and Putin.  Besides being a 10 episode buddy cop show I tried to get picked up back in the day, these are two men I fear the most.

I didn’t see it all, but even the little bit I saw covered on the news was surprising to me

Yeah, it's a big deal. Bishops are indeed important. It goes Pope, Cardinal, Archbishop. It would seem to be worth, especially in Philadelphia, a news story. It means a lot to a lot of people.

Pretty much all of the big cities in the northeast.  My wife's family is Catholic and they thought it was pretty exciting.
