BMC4 looking for new owner....

Looking to replace one team that was abandoned. The team is free this year but you will need to pay for next years entry fee in advance. The league entry is $50.

Its a 16 team league with a $500 salary cap and a 40 year contract cap. League is on MFL - http://www25.myfantasyleague.com/2012/home/23023#0 The team called Lunch Pail (BMC4) is the available team. It really needs some work if you are up for a challenge. It will most likely have the #1 pick for the rookie draft in May.

I was looking into this because I was interested until I realized that this fantasy football league looks like it may be considered illegal gambling for all involved, as a warning to anyone else.

16 teams, $50 league fee. That is $800 in entry fee money. It pays out $425 to the winner and $225 to the runner-up, which is $650 in payouts. The website fee, particularly if the Commish is running more than one league, is a fraction of the $150 in unpaid money. If the Commish is getting a benefit for running the league, even if that benefit is amounts to a free team entry fee for running the league, it could be considered illegal gambling.

FYI: I'm not giving any legal advice here, just speculating. I am a licensed attorney in several jurisdictions, however.

If the prize fees aren't as they say they are, and the full fees are being paid out, I still may be interested.
