Quoting Sid Hartman from Sunday, August 27th edition of Star Tribune Newspaper:
"Laurence Maroney has beaten out Corey Dillon for the No. 1 runningback spot with the Patriots, and his coaches are convinced he is going to be one of the league's most productive runningbacks."
This probably does not come to a surprise to those who have watched Maroney closely in preseason. He has played exceptionally well.
Looks like my 8th round pickwas well-spent on Maroney especially it is a keeper pick (minus 3 rounds every year so I could keep him for 5th rounder next year).
