I got 3 guys on my Radar, all were late round draft picks that most owners have probably dropped at this point, or are atleast willing to deal for a minimal price.
Id like to start with Mike Furrey. The lack of TDs and emergence of Shawn McDonald have resulted in Furrey being dropped in two of my three money leagues. through 3 games he seems to be the forgotten Lions WR. Right now you can go and get him on the cheap. Now is the time to do it as I think he will be a big part of the gameplan this week. Bears secondary is in terrible shape and it is now obvious that teams need to gameplan for Williams, Johnson & McDonald. Leaving Furrey the odd man out. I think he will start getting better matchups with corners and should start to pick up the TDs starting this week. 7 rec 90yds 1td
#2 guy im banking on is Mushin Muhommed. I doubt his is owned in many leagues and this change of QBs can only be a plus for him. He is getting the other teams #2 corner these days. Has not been a deep threat for a few years now. Bears shifting to Griese will maximize his skills. He will at best be a #3 WR in fantasy the rest of the season, but there is a good chance the Bears O gets back on track this week and he will be a solid option to have down the stretch. And You can get him for nothing right now. 5rec 70yrds 1TD
Final Guy is Drew Bennett. He really hasnt shown much this year and again is probably a guy on the WW right now. Rams look to have some issues everywhere on O. I think Bennett is a guy who could come up big down the stretch. Over the next few weeks without Jackson, the Rams will probably be throwing more giving him some extra value for the next month. I think his real value comes in when the Rams are out of the playoff race. If Holt shows any signs of knee problems Im sure the Rams have no problem pulling him from games. Bruce is aging. Plus I would think the Rams would want to "test out" thier new toy. They paid a pretty penny to bring him in this offseason and he does have the possability to be the Rams leader in looks late in the season.
