Makes sense to me. A lot of us have work uniforms. Whether it be a suit, no jeans, or Applebee's polo shirt... He should know by now he can only wear team approved apparel.

If I recall correctly, he's gotten in trouble for this in the past. He endorses Adidas, and the NFL's official sponsor is Nike, so he blacked out the Nike swoosh on some piece of team apparel he had to wear.

I wouldn't feel too bad for Griffin. I'm sure however much he winds up paying in fines, Adidas compensates him even more in return for the publicity.
