RGIII Owners - What's the plan if he is benched ? (1 Viewer)

Here are the options in my league

  • Keenum @ IND ( He already screwed me once vs JAX 2.77 ... Been busting easy matchups. Best game vs IND)
  • Campbell vs. CHI (he's had a few huge games and a few huge duds ... Not worth the risk in the playoffs)
  • Fitzpatrick vs ARZ (Inconsistent though his floor has been ~10pts Ceiling ~25pts
  • Tannehill vs NE (He has been pretty under the radar, Double Digits every week but one ... Low Ceiling)
  • Flynn @ DAL (He already screwed me once with -3.10 pts @ DET)
  • Cousins @ ATL (This was my original plan B assuming someone doesn't block me)
Whats your plan RG holders?

Ive long ago benched him for Cutler/McCown

I like Tannehill best on that list...been more solid than some might think

I'm facing the same decision. In one league I have him, I also have Russell Wilson, so that's not a problem.

The other league though, the best QBs available are Campbell, Manuel, Fitzpatrick, and Cutler (but who knows when he's coming back or if he'll start). Do I pick up Cousins or one of those other guys?

If you've made it this far with RG3, congrats.

The one league I missed the playoffs...and I missed them by a lot.

Start-2 QB so if RG3 gets benched I'll be deciding from:

Cousins

Campbell

Flynn (if Rodgers is still out)

Keenum

Cassel

Glennon's out there too but I want nothing to do with him this week against the 49ers.

I honestly don't know which way I'd go. Might go with Campbell since he's been playing very well lately. Cousins, Keenum and Flynn all have very appealing matchups so on paper at least the choices could come through if the right one is picked.

What about Garson and Morris? What do we do with them?
Trying to figure the same with Garcon. Also have Allen or White I could put in for him.
Allen easily over Garcon
Yep. Haven't had Garçon in my team for weeks and am an Allen owner. Hard to have faith in him getting you a big score at this point, particularly if you are in non ppr like me.

Annoying thing is that his schedule is tasty, but he's has tasty matchups already this season and not racked up points in them a few times.

I also play in a 2QB league with RG3 and I'm going with Campbell. The fact that Gordon can break a huge TD at any time makes him that much more appealing. The Bears should be able to score easily and Cleveland can't run the ball effectively

That's the way I'm leaning too and I agree with your reasoning. Plus Campbell's playing really well right now.

I've been playing McCown the last two weeks anyway, and I managed to pick up Cutler last week as well. RG3 will be on my bench the rest of the year, regardless of whether he's on the Skins' bench.

In the Superflex dynasty where he's my only starting QB (which means earning a bye in the playoffs was a miracle to begin with), I'll be picking up Matt Flynn and most likely losing in round 2. Or I guess I could pick up Clemons or Henne. Those are the only QB's available in a format like this.

I'm going with Campbell as well. In his 3 healthy games he put up very good fantasy numbers. He did have a bad game against Cincy when he played with bad ribs and again when he got knocked out of the Steelers game.

Also, the Bears are a bad defense.

My other QB is Alex Smith

I'm dropping him and going for Luck (vs HOU) who got put on the wire a week ago. If Luck wasn't around I'd hold on to him

Since my league turns off waivers and trading when the playoffs start and Rodgers isn't ready yet, it looks like I will be starting what could be the worst lineup to ever play in a second round fantasy football playoff game.

Geno Smith, Ryan Mathews, Daniel Thomas, Julian Edelman, Brian Hartline, Brandon LaFell, Coby Fleener, Stephen Gostkowski, and the Ravens D
