It's not a gut feel. It's logic. Do what you must.Big lead versus Houston = extended look at the rookieYWIAI hate all these gut feeling comments!!!!!

Joseph Addai rushed seven times for 26 yards and caught three passes for 22 yards in his pro debut. The bad news: Dominic Rhodes had 19 touches and a score. The good news: Rhodes has less total yards with nine more chances. Addai didn't do anything special in this game, but Rhodes' struggles could make the split of carries more even in the future. - RotoworldWill have to remember this when Addai is on the bench most of the game... thanks for the heads up!

Worst analogy ever.I was thinking about Sorgi over Manning too.

Funny. But Addai's performance had little to do with a "big lead vs. Houston" (in fact the majority of his points came in the 1st quarter). Here's the link you requested' date='Sep 17 2006, 12:30 PM' post='5537875']

Another guy that can't see the difference between FFB performance and NFL performance. Addai touched the ball a single time in the first quarter. It was a little dump pass 20 yards out that Addai turned into a TD. In the second Quarter he had a whopping 4 touches.' date='Sep 17 2006, 04:26 PM' post='5539980']

Just for the record:1st Quarter: 8 pointsETA that the majority of his points were not scored before they Colts had a lead. He got 8 points on the TD and he got the 80 yards in the second half. That's a split. Even if you go with PPR, 1 of the catches was in the 1st half and the other was in the second. Still a wash....
One touch in the 1st vs. 7 in the 4th is your argument that he didn't get showcased when the game was out of hand?' date='Sep 17 2006, 09:47 PM' post='5542200']

2nd Quarter: -2 points
3rd Quarter: 4 points
4th Quarter: 4 points
So yes, he did score the majority of his points in the 1st quarter. Also, while he did get 7 touches in the 4th quarter, he only turned them into 4 points AND he was yanked for both goal line opportunities (which were vultured by Rhodes and Carthon).
So, to call this a "4th quarter showcase" of Addai would be quite inaccurate.
Was addai in when he was yanked at the goaline? Have to start one of them next week and even though addai has looked better then rhodes the goaline back should be the one to start.' date='Sep 17 2006, 10:47 PM' post='5542200']

Yes and no. He was in at the goal line in the first half. He scored but it was nullified by penalty. They gave it to him again and he fumbled. At the end of the game he was in on both drives to get them to the goal line but was pulled for Rhodes and then later Carthon (sp?). He may have to earn goal line carries back after fumbling. I dunno for nex week. Jax can be tough. NYJ in week 4 will be a different story....Was addai in when he was yanked at the goaline? The only thing I'd add to this is that Addai's carry where he fumbled was a great run, and really close to a TD. It was called a touchdown and overturned on review. The announcers were starting to praise the run (he scored on a second or third effort). I think the writing is somewhat on the wall here as long as you think Indy will go with one back eventually. Seems entirely possible that they might continue to rotate as long as both look good. Ignoring the stats, I thought both played a pretty good game to be honest. Though it's probably worth pointing out that Addai's fourth quarter yardage came when everyone knew they would run.Yes and no. He was in at the goal line in the first half.
