On paper Richardson looks better, but he is wildly inconsistent. If he doesn't get significant rushing yards, it's a bad week. I'm a Richardson owner, and the thought of replacing him with Nix isn't a horrible idea, but I would stick with Richardson for the moment. Downs and all his weapons are back.
The other guy wants a higher floor and is willing to give up ceiling to do so. Do you have negatives for turnovers? That could also be a factor.
Depending on what else you have at QB you may want the high ceiling low floor guy or you may want a middle of the road guy that keeps you at a higher floor.
If your other QB is good I’d do it. Richardson might be a bad week bad week HUGE week guy. That’s worth it if your other qb can absorb it consistently.
