Does Ricky Proehl have any fantasy value???

I know this may *sound* stupid, but it seems like Harrison

and Wayne are gonna get some rest for the playoffs.

(sorry no stats, but Peyton is my keeper - I watch a lot of Colts games)

And it always seems that Terence Wilkins gets a TD or 2

late in the season. Usually from Jim Sorgi...but I'll save that

for another thread.... :bag:

So, is it Ricky or Wilkins for those late-season garbage TDs?

And, would you give up your last roster spot for him?

1) Indianapolis has only 1 game over SD e BAL

2) i don't think they will make the same mistake of last year

Proehl would have huge potential but you have to pay close attention to what Indy is doing on offense any given week.

Still, I bet Stokely only dreams he could have a career as good as Ricky. Yeah Brandon caught 10 TD passes but if Proehl had ever played with the likes of Peyton Manning there would be no comparison.

Colts season ticket holder here. Some have even called me a "homer", so take this for what it's worth.

I think Proehl has the potential to come in and put up very good numbers. The Colts were waiting to see if Stokley was going to be able to make it back this season. By signing Ricky, this should tell you all you need to know.

The Colts offense has been missing the slot WR and Ricky fits the bill nicely!

Their offense isn't nearly as potent with the 2 TE sets thay've had to use this season. Couple this with the fact that Dallas Clark has probably been lost for the season, and you can really start to see the numbers add up for Proehl!

There you have it, my $0.02

Perhaps search for the 3+ threads that were on here about his signing when it happened earlier this week.

Proehl is a non-factor, even in the deepest of leagues.

Pehaps you should go back to playing XBox in your mom's basement.Tool.Next time I'll run the search. Geez.

Proehl is insurance for Stokely/Clark. Aaron Moorehead is terrible, so this is a good move for the Colts in reality because they don't have to put Wayne in the slot again like they did in the Dallas game (which was a disaster because Moorehead can't catch a cold), but, don't expect a lot of numbers for Proehl.
