RIP Ann B. Davis (Alice) (1 Viewer)

Her character was the least funny comic relief character.

Wasn't her grooming recently in question?

Does it really make people sad that Ann B. Davis died? I don’t understand reactions to celebrity deaths at all.

Someone that people admired or liked because they brought some joy to their life dies and you got a problem that they feel some loss at their passing? That says more about you than about those mourning a celebrity passing.

A character from a beloved TV show dies; nobody here is bawling their eyes out. Maybe, just maybe we are waxing nostalgic for our long-gone youth and the things we watched back then. Its okay, though. You've earned your Internet Tough Guy medal; you can stand down now.

I agree that not feeling sad that Ann B. Davis died says something about me too. I don't know that it says more about me than the person who is sad that Ann B. Davis died.

I win a medal, because I'm not upset that a 88 year old woman from the Brady Bunch died? Cool.

I actually thought she was already dead, so now I'm doubly crushed. :(

these guys say she is still alive, so you have hope: http://www.deadoraliveinfo.com/dead.nsf/dnames-nf/Davis+Ann+B

I'm bummed she died, but at 88, such an event should hardly be unexpected. Still, my prayers are with her family.

I seem to remember her playing a truck driver in the first Brady Bunch movie.

I think 88 is a long life, but I do think it is sad that she reportedly was in great health for her age, but she died because she fell and hit her head in her bathroom. Anyway, people don't have to be sad to pay their respects to someone that meant something in their life. The Brady Bunch is my favorite show from my youth, and Ann B. Davis was a part of that cast that brought me happiness. I still love watching Brady Bunch reruns. Thanks for the smiles, ABD. RIP

These people came into our homes every week. People get attached. Not hard to understand at all.

I know it always sounds like shtick but I thought she had passed a while ago really.
