Saw him do standup in the early '80's at the Improv in Hollywood. He was huge back then. Somebody heckled "Hey Rick, how come it says wide load on the back of your pants?" He didn't miss a beat - "I dunno mother####r, why does it say deep load on the back of yours?"

I know his weight fluctuated by 200lbs. Complications from diabetes is not surprising. Hope Ralphie May takes notice. John Pinette dropped dead at 50. RIP Rick.
