Disclaimer: Not a WSIS thread or "here's my playoff lineup." Simply talking about the risky plays you're making in the playoff week and who you're benching for said player.
League 1: 16-team, performance scoring, decimal scoring
Going with TWO Kansas City offensive players (Jamaal Charles and Chris Chambers) over any combination of Michael Turner, Darren Sproles, Braylon Edwards, Lav Coles, Jason Avant, Torry Holt - The Charles play is obvious. Chambers was a huge bust last week and plays a very strong Buffalo pass D. Still, while I expect Buffalo to ultimately win, they won't blow out KC like San Diego did last week so all the KC starters should play for 48 minutes allowing for ample garbage time. It's also the last week Chambers can impress the league with a big performance today for a contract next year as he takes a backseat to a returning Dwayne Bowe in Week 15.
League 2: 12-team, distance TD scoring, PPR
Going with Justin Forsett over Kevin Smith, Steve Smith (CAR), Mario Manningham, and Chris Chambers - Forsett did the most he could with limited work last week (9 points in this league). Mora admits Forsett will get "much more work" this week and as of last night he's actually toying with the idea of starting him:
Eric Williams, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks head coach Jim Mora would not say whether RB Julius Jones or RB Justin Forsett will start in Week 14. Mora said it will depend on which personnel group is being used at the start of the game. --Source: KFFL
Houston is middle of the pack in terms of run defense and Forsett could get a lot of garbage time screen passes if Seattle's down. Of course, that was the theory last week for those who thought Larry Johnson would get some work at home vs. Detroit despite Benson's return and he had 2 carries for 4 yards while Benson dominated.
Perhaps I'm overthinking the other guys but:
*Kevin Smith has done OK in PPR formats, but the fact Baltimore kept Ryan Grant to 4 points at home doesn't give me confidence that Smith can eek out a double digit point day on the road.
*Steve Smith has been a crapshoot all season and plays an angry Patriots team that's going to obliterate Carolina & their inexperienced QB.
*Chambers is enticing, particularly in a distance league, but I'm already rolling the dice on him in the aforementioned league with little confidence.
*Manningham had his worst outing of the season last week and is likely facing inclement weather tonight.
Which risks are you looking to take when you have to win or curse the idea of fantasy football until the NFL Draft in April?

Just a hunch!
I started him over McNabb and so far I'm down -7 to 0.
Worked out ok in the end but
