Robert Lester, Saftey Car (1 Viewer)

Godfrey is on IR, Mikell was injured week 2 (ankle, gotta be HAS, still not practicing after 3 weeks, ruled out week 5). So Lester is starting again at SS this week. Played well in week 3. Unclear if Mikell will get the job back or not. He was signed off the street just prior to week 1, but has much more experience than Lester, an undrafted rookie out of Alabama.

If you need an SS for a week, maybe two, go for it. But know the front seven will eat up most of the tackles, and whether he sticks or not is highly dependent on his play.

He had an impressive first start 2 weeks ago vs NYG. An int and fumble recovery to go along with 4 tackles I believe. He was really impressing during OTA's but when the pads first came on he really underwhelmed. He was demoted to the PS but he must have figured out the speed of the game a little in the interim.

I figure he's got to have at least some playmaking ability given his resume from Alabama and the SEC. Small sample size thus far, but there have definitely been worse debuts.

I'm rolling him with him in a deep 32 team league due to byes and injuries.

6.750 3 Tackles 2.000 1 Passes Defensed 5.000 1 Interceptions
I'd take this all day from a guy 2 weeks removed the the PS. 3 turnovers in 2 games tells me he has at least SOME limited playmaking skills. Still a small sample size, but promising thus far. Enough to at least garner a longer look when/if they get back their regular DBs.
