Hilton at this point is not even garunteed the starting spot fighting Campbell and Conwell.... he should beat the out... but he will be a marginal TE for his career.

Roddy get a big edge...if its dynasty league...as his upside is greater....as he could potentially be the #1 wr in Atlanta for years.

Roddy looks like a stud. If Vick ever figures out how to hit his wideouts, look out.

Hilton looks very promising, but remember, Tight Ends are much a product of the offense. Regardless of talent, if the offense isn't catered to a Tight End, there's not much he'll do.

Remember, WRs score more than TEs, unless your name is Gonzo.

And as we've all seen, the #1 WR slot in Atlanta is a goldmine!I don't have a problem with someone stating that White is more talented than Hilton. However until the Falcons throw to someone besides Crumpler or Dunn, White's value will remain in the gutter.

I said it was fair after you made it public and implied it not to be. 15-8, while the majority agrees that they would not take it, perhaps you should have mentioned that you publicly stated you needed another TE?

The better question would be whether the offer is unreasonable. I maintain that it isn't.

It belongs in the assistance coach forum, but I do not agree that it doesn't belong at FBG at all. I assume the forums are reserved for items of interest to you only? Last I checked, not many people ion these forums belong to the "FBG league".

And again, This was a reasonable initial offer. You could have countered, I likely would have included something along the lines of a 3rd rounder. Is the art of negotiation totally lost on you?

Hilton had nice potential, until Reggie showed up....

All those little dump offs will probably get in Bushes hands now.

I like Roddy White to bring his game up this year, Crumpler was not as effective in 2005 as previous years. And someone has to get better at WR.

I'd favore White right now.

Seriously, when you get a bad offer, it's STILL useful. The guy is telling you he wants White. That's GOOD news. He probably thinks White has lots of upside. So if White catches 5 balls and a TD week 1, first thing I'd do is send him some offers. =) He'll be thinking, "WOW I was right, White is going to be a stud". Whether you work out a deal or not doesn't matter. It's some information you can save later. Lets say one of his WRs blows a knee out. Might be time to offer HIM some bad deals for White. =)
