Sorry man. There are so many threads that sometimes I just flat out miss them when i go hunting. Roddy has been so clutch this year. We need him to be healthy down the stretch.I posted a thread on this - probably on page two. Seems like there was no info yet - I'm sure we'll get something today.
lol. I think thats what I was doing until today.FantasyTrader said:I'm just denying it exists. With Reggie Wayne (groin), Calvin and Roddy as my starting WR's in dynasty - Roddy getting injured isn't even possible. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Falcons coach confirms WR White set to start Roddy White (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis Friday and is expected to start Sunday versus Washington."I anticipate them being ready to go," coach Mike Smith said of White and LT Sam Baker, who has a tweaked ankle. The team scaled back White's practice reps this week because they're on a short week after last Monday night's loss to New Orleans. The Falcons and Skins play at 1PM ET this Sunday. On the radio they said he was running routes that could only be described as "straight". I also heard he looked tentative on the reverse. Wish I could've watched and reported, but that's all I've got. The fact they got up big early also allowed them to not have to lean on him as well. Seems safe to say the knee limited him at least a little.Anyone who watched the game, was it just a stinker or was that knee slowing him down?
They could have thrown to him a bit more, but I think this is accurate. It seemed he was a bit tentative. But that leads me to ask, "Why run a reverse with him?" Especially with a tender knee?On the radio they said he was running routes that could only be described as "straight". I also heard he looked tentative on the reverse. . If he were really that injured, would they run a reverse to him and have him play his usual number of snaps? I don't think so. It was a game that Atlanta lead by plenty early and ran the ball a ton. Ryan's low numbers reflect on Roddy's low numbers. Just an off game - it happens. Look at DJax and Colston.White appeared to play a full slate of snaps, so don't blame his slow game on the knee injury that had him "questionable" coming into the game. The Skins were highly effective at defending the pass, holding Matt Ryan to just 135 yards. White now travels to Carolina for a matchup with Chris Gamble
yup. Key here is, there is no news that he aggravated anything in last week's game, so he'll be in same shape if not slightly better. Looked fairly solid to me, though I didn't watch the entire game, just highlights. Roll with him. Giants defensive quarterback is out, though they did get a lot healthier in other departments coming off the bye week.Same drill as last week; limited in practice Thursday and Friday, and listed as questionable. Nothing new to report.Put up 7-98 last week. My plan is start him per usual. If you have better options, then all I can say is that must be one awesome corps.
weather's gonna be mild as can be, though not as mild as 2 weeks ago for the chargers game. Was at the game, have never been at any game even in sept or october where it was that beautiful out. Its liek SD brought the weather with them...NYG's off a bye trying to right the ship? Looks tough for ATL. Turner out, Snelling filling in = drop at RB Ryan playing poorly lately, thinking too much = bad vs NYG pass rushWhite = Playing hurt and playing well in spurts =OK matchupHopefully the weather is not UGLY in NJ this weekend. I'm looking toward Driver as an alternative. Don't want to do it, but based on above I'm on the fence right now. GTD for me.
That was insane - sunny and 65.Tommorrow we got 52 and clear, 7 mph wind, which is about as good as it gets 3rd week of November.weather's gonna be mild as can be, though not as mild as 2 weeks ago for the chargers game. WTFC's???Count me as worried, with Harvin on the bye I would have to roll out Floyd.
Is this some new language in not familiar with?WTFC's???Count me as worried, with Harvin on the bye I would have to roll out Floyd.
Roddy White (questionable, knee) will play on Sunday when the Falcons take on the Giants in the Meadowlands.Analysis: White has been listed as questionable for the past three weeks and hasn't missed a game. He'll start against a struggling Giants' defense coming off their bye week while getting CB Aaron Ross back.
