Ben Roethlisberger Accused of Sexual Assault

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault by a young woman in Georgia, TMZ has learned.

The alleged incident occurred early this morning at Capital City -- a club in Milledgeville, Georgia.

The alleged victim, who has already been interviewed by police, has been treated and released.

We're told in addition to the alleged victim, witnesses are being interviewed -- and one law enforcement source says they will attempt to interview Roethlisberger.

In addition to the Milledgeville Police Dept, we've learned the Georgia Bureau of Investigations is also investigating.

As we previously reported, Roethlisberger is being sued by a Reno woman, Andrea McNulty, who claims the QB sexually assaulted her in 2008.

UPDATE: We're told Roethlisberger has already been interviewed by police. We're also told no formal charges have been filed at this point.

Ok, at what point do we need to apply the "knucklehead factor" to Ben? Seems like there's been a double-standard. I have a hard time complaining about Brandon Marshall and not applying the same standard to Ben.

 
A couple things here...this is not the first time he is being accused of this. I still don't believe he did it but this guy really needs to be careful. I don't understand why NFL players don't get it. If you are just going to shag women you might as well hire a professional because you pay them to leave. You start throwing money at a woman you pick up in bar or club, you are inviting them to stay and come after your savings too.

The other thought is maybe these women don't feel too good aftewards. Whether it's feelings hurt or physically they feel like they just mated with a farm animal, something isn't adding up.

After the woman in Reno and now this, we're looking at some serious stuff here. I agree with Gheemony that the knucklehead factor really needs to be considered when it comes to viewing Ben's future fantasy value.

I'm not sure this one will be swept under the rug like the alleged Reno rape was. I'd be a very concerned owner if I had him on a dynasty roster right now. There could ultimately be a prison sentence at some point. I know he's a big shot and that probably makes it unlikely, but it's happened before (Mike Tyson).

I'm not accusing him of anything . At best it seems we can only hope he's just a horny rube walking thru the midway of life.He better dot his i's & cross his t's before he schtupps anyone from now on.

Liable does not = guilty. Try again.EDIT: Anyway enough of this derailment. You are wrong, you can be a rapist/drug dealer/murderer etc. w/o being convicted of it in court.
