Go, Ronnie, Go!

My fantasy bowl hopes may have to ride on his big, burley shoulders. :banned: :bag:

Any chance he runs over the Pats D?

I was actually thinking about playing him this week over Javon Walker in a flex spot. I dont know, this really isnt the time of the year to get "cute" with my lineup.

Now you tell me.....I got "cute" last week and played Fason. You can only guess how that smooth move worked for me.

we discuss Dayne in this week's roundtable.

he has nice matchups after this game, but on the road against an angry Pats D that gave up 123 to Sammy Morris may not be the best time to start Dayne.

I'd try to avoid him if possible, but by the time week 15 rolls around, it is hard to find a substitute for a 20+ carry back.

While I agree that @ NE is a tough rushing matchup, it's less about anger than it is about regression to the mean. New England has a good rush defense--they just played poorly last week and I expect them to bounce back. The other problem is that the teams Dayne beat up on (OAK and TEN) are two of the worst rushing defenses in the league.

i may be forced to play him if dunn can't go. heck, i may play him over dunn anyway. wow... looks like out in the second round again this year.

the pats gave up 123 yards and a TD to morris WITH vince wilfork in there. now wilfork's out (see rotoworld), and he was a big body up the middle. not saying dayne will have 123 and a score, but his day just got a little easier.

that said, for all we know, mini-shanny kubiak could give lundy 30 carries....

Me too. I survived that stupid blunder last week. I am not going to fall for it again... then again Morris did go 120+ & a TD against Pats ....

I am thinking of picking him up to play him next week, he plays Indy but I would have to start him in place of Edge and also would have to drop R. Moss if I pick him up.

Does anyone else think this is a good move or do I just stay with Edge.

I would not start dayne this week unless I had too.

I may have to - stuck with terrible matchups with mediocre backs like MaGahee, S Morris, Ced Houston, TJ/c Benson - with those kind of options Dayne may not be an awful start.

Dayne's an ok start this week, but Week 16 versus the sorry Colts run defense is a fabulous matchup for him. They can't stop anybody.

I think Sammy Morris has a good matchup. I like his matchup better than Daynes, and he has been playing well.
