Ronald Curry Coming Out Party? (1 Viewer)

Trying to catch lightning in a bottle, my main WR (DJax) is out and Moss has been horrible (I've had to start Lee Evans in his place). So, trying to predict something here - the Raiders Whitt sucks - so is Curry a viable option? Could he step up and become the next Cinderella WR ending this season and coming back next year as a legit #1 WR on the Raiders (assuming Moss is gone).

Thoughts on this subject would be greaty appreciated.

His reaccuring achilles injury would be a concern. How many time shas he tore that thing? 3 going back to college days.

I know Curry had been highly regarded within the Raiders organization. His injury problems, however, kept him off the field so there is not much to go on. Based on last week's performance and the fact that he got 3 receptions in the 2 games before that make him a decent WR3-4 starter in 12+ teams assuming Moss is out. As for keeper potential, I just don't know enough about him.

I like his chances this week at least against the Ram's sieve, er, defense with Moss likely out. I plan to start him (as if anyone cares) in my playoff game instead of A Bryant. Curry has tons of talent (did you know he was USA Today High School Player of the Year in Both Football AND Basketball?) and just needs health, motivation, and experience.

I am in the same boat - had DJAX and have to scramble. My other options are Fuerry or Crotchey. I inquired about Curry because Moss may be more of attitude and not getting along with Brooks more than ability. Brooks seems to like Curry (read it somewhere - sorry no link). My thought process was that Curry is probably glad to get a shot and may be auditioning for next season. He has had some nice games in the past.

Difference is Curry won't be dropping passes on purpose.
