Ronnie Brown, and 2 Fin olinemen fined $10K (1 Viewer)

I like the NFL tightenting their belts on keeping the league decent... but for what Ronnie Brown and the 2 o-line men did... $10K each. Even they were like... "you are fining me how much".

I'm glad the rule states 2 or more celebrating...

But if you REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY care about keeping things tidy... fine for the Lambeau leaps. (not a Packer hater.... I just see that as more flambouyant than an end zone celebration... one is on the field... the other is even more so CLEARLY TO DRAW attention to one's self).

I have no clue what Brown or the other Dolphins did.But I think you're completely missing the goal of the NFL's actions if you think celebrating directly with the fans -- like the Lambeau Leap does -- is the kind of thing the NFL is trying to prevent.

Ronnie and a few linemen celebrated his td by doing the CUPID SHUFFLE.....youtube it.

What they did was clearly against the rules for pre-planned or group celebrations. Personally I'd rather they outlaw individual celebrations and encourage group ones. Team unity and all. But stuff like the Lambeau Leap isn't anything like the primadonna strutting stuff that got stepped down on last year. Anything that involves the fans into the celebration is probably going to be fine by me. And definitely any group celebration with an RB setting up his OL for some screen time should be fine. But the rules are the rules and the refs should be graded down for not flagging it. It was extremely and obviously in violation of the rules.

You are kidding yourself. They broke the rules, they got fined.

Completely agree with most in this thread - Lambeau leap = one person celebrating with fans versus group celebration, which has been outlawed for YEARS. The Dolphins players know better.

As a fin fan that was wonderfull to see. We haven't had a lot to cheer for over the past years and I for one loved it. The best was when RB took it to the house and did LT's sig move. CLASSIC. I got to watch RB play my hokies in the 2005 sugar bowl. He was a nice guy(ran into him on burbon street), then to have him drafted by the phins was awsome.

Props to the O Line. Props to RB for recognizing them. 15 years from now, Goddel will be walking fine and these guys will be in pain every morning when they get out of bed. In other news, I was fined 10k by the NFL for high fiveing my son when he showed me the A on his trig test. Group celebration and all.Peace

I know you guys probably think the CFL is a joke, but pre-planned, group celebrations are celebrated in the CFL and some of them are really cool and innovative

I see nothing wrong with it and think it is crazy that the NFL doesn't allow it.

More annoying than the lambeau leap or anything brown did is:

Celebrations by LB's and D-line after every tackle, that thing they do when they kick or punch the air, running past the offense to celebrate, jesus christ it's terrible.
