Ronnie Brown Moves up? (1 Viewer)

Ronnie Brown moved up the cheat sheets and the projections by Dodd. CP has been brutal, but will Joey be a factor that will get some running room? I have Fast Willie in the line-up but now wonder why the bump with Brown. Anyone else starting Brown because of Joey? I see willie getting more carries, and don't beleive that the Chargers D is that good.

That's a good question.... Harrington in a new system might be reborn. Unlikely, but there's a chance I guess.

More likely though MIA will be shut out and Brown will have zero room to run.

MIAMI won't be running the shotgun every play now. Brown is a much better play with Joey.

CPEP hasnt been playing any better than Joey did in Detroit.

Actually Culpep's rating is 77.0 so far this year.

Harrington's rating was 59.9, 63.9, 77.5 and 72 for the Lions, so yes, Culpepper has actually been better this year than Harrington. They both are/were pretty bad though.

I can't see this as an improvement for brown. At best it's the same, with the less shotgun formations offset by harrington's stupid decisions translating into big leads for Miami's opponents.

I actually think any change at QB for Miami may be a good thing.

I would not be surprised to see that offense come out and look good this week.

IMHO, Brown can only improve with the change in QB. CPep's rating is deceiving this year, as the majority of his production has been late in the game after the game was decided. I say give Joey a chance.

ronnie browns success(or lack of) will probably come down to something like this

2% harrington

98% offensive line

I can't justify upgrading Brown:

* The O-line is the same

* The OC is the same

* He was Culpepper's #1 receiver, I can't imagine his rec #'s could improve, only get worse.

He's a risky start this week where they'll fall behind, have poor field position, and lots of 3 & outs.
