Rookie draft 1.03 ... keep or trade? (1 Viewer)

In my 16-team, PPR, full-IDP dynasty, I have the 1.03 pick in the rookie draft. Which means I'm probably looking at McCaffrey or Mixon.

I already have Freeman and Gurley as RB, though with flex I can start as many as three. My WR are much thinner however ... must start 3-5 and right now I really only have Jordy Nelson, S. Shepard and a bunch of not much else.

Do I keep the 1.03 and load up the RB spot (unless something crazy happens and Davis falls)? Or can I realistically try to trade back to 1.06 or 1.07 and maybe look for M. Williams or Ross? Would 1.06-07 and a future 1st or a WR3 type be enough?

(Note: this is an auction dynasty, so I'm sure there will be some potential WR1-2 types available when we get to the auction part of it.)

Thanks!

I would think this is more likely to get answers in the regular Assistant Coach thread over the IDP Assistant Coach thread since it really doesn't have much to do with IDP.

I would keep 1.03 and take the best available player in that spot - whoever you may think that is.  I would think getting one of Fournette, McCaffrey or Davis is just fine in that spot. regardless of your roster makeup.
