Recently we've seen an influx of prospects in the trenches and a heap of guys on the offensive side of the ball become cornerstones.......for about a season - Marcus McNeil, Jammal Brown, Ryan Clady, Joe Thomas was much more effective as a rookie than he was in year 2
Defensive prospects have tended to struggle initially - Dorsey, Sedrick Ellis, Alan Branch, Amobi Okoye, Broderick Bunkley.
Is it an issue with player evaluation or is it due to complexity of techniques? Do rookie OTs get a chance to rely on their athleticism, whereas defenders need time to learn? Is it technicians v maulers?
What's going on here?
