clearly pettigrew has gotten the most action, but the other guys are the ones im most curious about. anybody seen any encouraging news about chase coffman, jared cook, shawn nelson, etc.?

p.s. looking for dynasty based feedback... so redrafters dont come in here and make meaningless comments

Cook had a couple big catches last week. Scaife was franchised this year and probably won't be back. Cook has a good chance to breakout next year.

Nelson has started every game he was healthy. They will draft a QB, and his success will be tied to that QB.

Bengals just don't throw to the TE much. I don't expect much out of Coffman unless there's major changes in Cincy.

James Casey should be ranked ahead of Coffman and Nelson. Great chance for success if the team doesn't re-sign Daniels.

Another vote for James Casey. Talented AND part of a very nice situation. Kind of reminds me of Chris Cooley, but with a little more spring in his step (and football IQ out the wazoo, so I hear)

I have Casey on my bench for the future. It may take him until next year but I feel he may be able to step into OD's role.I don't think he will put up OD numbers but should be a serviceable TE.

I don't see any reason why not. He has the talent, so all he needs is the opportunity and experience.

Big fan of Casey and cook. Have them both backing up witten this year. Hoping one emerges as top 10 next year.

Casey can do so many things it will be fun to see them start to really use him.

Cook just seems to be a reliable future TE with great upside potential.

I believe Cook & Pettigrew will be the best TEs from this class by a longshot. Cook's ceiling is ridiculous. He's in the perfect offense to utilize his outstanding skills, as well. The sky is the limit.

Pettigrew did exactly what I thought he'd do (except get hurt, LOL). For some reason, a lot of people weren't real high on him because they thought he wasn't a good athlete, but he clearly is. Calvin Johnson will only help him. Pettigrew is going to be a sure-fire FF stud, IMO.

Casey has some talent, but I actually don't like his situation much. Daniels is going nowhere. I realize he'll be a FA, but he's a key ingredient to their offense. They aren't the same without him & the Texans will do everything in their power to keep OD (including using the franchise tag on him if they have to).

Nelson could be a decent FF TE, but it remains to be seen how the new regime will use him.

:goodposting: pretty much exactly what I was going to post. Acquire Cook in every league you can now. You'll be glad you did. I've liked the kid before the draft, love where he landed and thought he would be the best long term prospect of the Titans picks this year - Britt has surprised me but Cook still is my guy.
