Trying to decide between Oakland's Deandre Washington vs. Baltimore's Kenneth Dixon in a PPR league. Some of my thoughts:
Deandre Washington
Rookie - drafted in Round 5 from Texas Tech
5' 8" 204 pounds
40 yard dash - 4.49 seconds
competition is Latavius Murray (has Turf Toe, lousy YPC career numbers) and Jalen Richard (rookie - undrafted free agent)
according to FBG Custom SOS for RB (PPR League), Oakland has 3rd easiest schedule
with Carr, Cooper and Crabtree, Raiders are likely to emphasize passing over running
Matt Bitonti's ranking for Week 4 had Raiders as 15th best O-line, with a B Grade for Run Blocking
Kenneth Dixon
Rookie - drafted in Round 4 from Louisiana Tech
5' 10" 215 pounds
40 yard dash - 4.58 seconds
competition is Terrance West (underachiever for his career, but looked great in Week 4) and Javorius Allen
according to FBG Custom SOS for RB (PPR League), Baltimore has 24th easiest schedule
Ravens are more likely to emphasize the run game than the Raiders
Matt Bitonti's ranking for Week 4 had Ravens as 12th best O-line, with an A- Grade for Run Blocking
Matt Waldman's review of Kenneth Dixon in Gut Check 382 (here - http://subscribers.footballguys.com/apps/article.php?article=gutcheck382)
was positively glowing.
Neither one will start for me in Week 5, so I don't care about production this week.
