we use a 1900 max b/c it's annoying seeing so many decent pitchers be useless.
i don't think there's any need for a minimum unless it's H2H or you use some crazy categories.

I play in a league with a 1500 limit. When I set it up myself I usually go 1400. I think that's about the right range. With no limit, the waiver wire can become a tangled mess of churned pitchers, and having lots of starts can become more important than having quality starts.
I don't see a need for a minimum in 5x5 roto. If you want to double-punt wins and strikeouts, knock yourself out. Gonna be hard to win a league that way.
