Who the heck is picking for Fox???????????????????

FFtoday made some terrible reaches.
Jordan I guess I can understand, but I think thats a case of drafting him based on how he was used under Turner, instead of how he will be used under Shell. Dillon and Galloway in the 3rd and 4th was just awful.

Wow. I don't know how you guys can play in these 1QB leagues.

The first round is entirely RBs. How fun is that?

Peyton Manning picked in the 3rd round, 14 picks behind Chester Taylor. Ya, that accurately reflects their NFL value. You 1 QB guys blow my mind.

2.04 (16) – FoxFantasy - Reuben Droughns, Browns RB

2.08 (20) – SportingNews - Chester Taylor, Vikings RB (before JJ and KJ)

3.10 (34) – The Huddle - Peyton Manning, Colts QB (QBs get 2 pt/TD or something?)

8.07 (91) – FFToday - Nate Burleson, Seahawks WR (yuk)
The Droughns pick seems kind of high, however Chester seems about right. I'm willing to be he will outperform both JJ and KJ this year in a PPR, and will come close if not beat them in regular scoring as well. I would be happy to get Peyton in the 3rd.

3.10 (34) – The Huddle - Peyton Manning, Colts QB

I don't see this happening in most drafts, with the QB shortage/??? this year Manning goes no later then late 2nd in most drafts.

I like Chester this year too and think it is possible he could outperform JJ or KJ. I guess it was more of a comment on drafting for value. Antsports ADP is 3.8, reaching in the 2nd is a good way to hose your entire draft.Am guessing the drafter was very high on him and didn't think he would have a shot at him in the 3rd.

Manning at 3.10

Scoring must be skewed to RB to have some of those mediocre to below average RB taken that early.

Don't get me wrong, I always draft a RB when in doubt but to take some of those guys that at best will hit 1000yd mark and at very best double digit TD before Manning and some of the top WR is silly.

KFFL had a nice start IMHO.

1.11 (11) – KFFL - Brian Westbrook, Eagles RB

2.02 (14) – KFFL - Rudi Johnson, Bengals RB

3.11 (35) – KFFL - Warrick Dunn, Falcons RB

4.02 (38) – KFFL - Darrell Jackson, Seahawks WR

5.11 (59) – KFFL - Carson Palmer, Bengals QB

Solid Value:

TO at 2.11 (The top producing WR)

Lewis at 3.07 (I can't see him not outproducing this spot)

Parker at 3.08 (nothing has really changed to see him have this big of drop in production. His TD values should increase and this team runs the ball, I mean they run the ball)

Manning at 3.10 (#1 QB IMO, finished strong last year to guarantee his production at 3.10 is a great pick)

Benson at 5.01 (I think TJ has lost the job, its Benson to lose, if he keeps it he will easily outproduce 5.01)

E. Manning at 6.09 (He should have very solid production to get him at 6.09 and not have to worry about QB all season is nice)

D. Rhodes at 6.10 (I'm not sold on a rookie picking up a no huddle, call the play at the line and make sure you don't miss a block on our franchise QB type offense)

Reaches:

Droughns at 2.04 (This Offense is going to sputter enough to make his production up and down at 2.04 I'd like to get someone with solid production and good upside)

Chester Taylor at 2.08 (This offense scares me. I'm not sure if he can handle the load and if he will get enough chances to go ahead of the other RB that was still around)

T. Bell at 3.09 (Not going to over pay for him, Dayne scares me too much (did I just say that?))

Quite surprised FantasyFootball.com didn't go TJ and Benson at 4.12 and 5.01.

The following would of looked a lot better:

QB: Delhomme

RB1: Larry Johnson

RB2: TJ/Benson

RB3: Deuce (didn't like this pick either, but nonetheless...)

WR: Boldin

TE: Witten or Cooley (available at his Moose/Delhomme picks)

Than: (And only having 1 surefire RB situation)

QB: Delhomme

RB1: Larry Johnson

RB2: Deuce

RB3: Benson

WR: Boldin

WR: Moose

TE: Shockey

Taking just Benson at 4.12 and then taking Moose at 7.01 is beyond horrible. I absolutely hate taking RB/WR, RB/TE, or QB/RB from the same team .....let alone a team that isn't going to light up the scoreboard.

This isn't a juggernaut of an offense....it's a very solid RUN FIRST offense (with easily Top 10 potential). I believe Lovie when he says one guy will get the majority.

No trading in this mock. You also had to select EXACTLY 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 WRs, 2 TEs, 2 PKs and 2 defenses.

Was a start 1/2/2/1 league with PPR

This is the reason I took Gates with my third pick. No need to get my second RB after people have overpaid for them. And I knew I could get WR value throughout this draft. If this was a start 3 WR or even had the limitation off of exact number per position, I likely would have taken Harrison over Gates. I am rarely a take a TE early person, but I think it works in this funky format.

This is also the reason I think QBs went late. Rivers and Volek went in the last round of the draft. So although Manning was value in the third, so was every other QB because no one was stockpiling RBs and WRs.
